Dead and Alive by Dean Koontz is a thriller/horror novel originally released in 2009. Sequel to City of Night, it is the third book in Koontz’s Frankenstein Series. Used to be a vicious monster, Deucalion has turned into a hero in battling the evil Victor “Frankenstein” Helios and his engineered killers. Detectives Carson and Michael, aided by Deucalion, were battling not only against Helios’ monstrous creations but also his power structure.
